I've had the best running this past week! The temps have dropped quite a bit and the humidity is much lower than it was. I can actually breathe when I run! I've been able to run 5 miles on all my training days this week with much increased times. This morning was a long run, so I got up at 5:00 to eat and get fueled and hydrated before I ran. I was soooo sleepy though and seriously considered just crawling back in my bed. I couldn't do it though - I HAD to run!
I got to my route and stretched and warmed up. When I started, it felt so easy and right! I could breathe and my legs felt so strong! It was overcast and cool! Before I knew it, 10 miles had come and gone and I was feeling great. I didn't start getting tired until about mile 14. The plan was to run 16 miles and I did it. The last mile was tough, but I did it.
I am a runner! It feels so good to know that I did that - I ran 16 miles. I am just overwhelmed today with what I did. Sometimes I doubt myself and wonder if I'll be able to really do a marathon. After today - I KNOW I can!
