8 miler

I have got to stop drinking 5-6 cups of tea a day, especially have to stop having a cup or 2 after 4 pm.  I guess there is decaffinated tea, I must invest.

Anyway, I struggled through an 8 miler today.  It was very hot and I was suprisingly sore from the backward running. I still think it will benefit my training but must rethink how often and when I do it.  Tomorrow I have a 4 miler, I am working on getting in my 30 mile week, hopefully the soreness will have subsided.

Traxee user bmoore Noooo.....OK I rarely do this because I say, "to each her own"...and you probably already know how BAD those sodas are for you...they cause bone loss! But seriously - do you just LOVE Diet Coke? ;-)

Traxee user jstath My vice is diet soda! I drink 5-6 a day. After a good run, I head straight to the convenience store for a jumbo fountain Diet Pepsi! My friends have said that it doesn't even sound good, but I love it! I know that I should drink water, but I love caffeine, and I can drink it up until I go to bed and still sleep like a baby.

Traxee user bmoore Something is definitely going on. I admit to being a 3 - 4 cup a day (and NOT small cups) coffee drinker and it has never really effected me. The last several nights I have found myself up at 3 AM...really bad. I am so fatigued in the morning I know I am not doing my best work and my running times are suffering. SOme of this I know is hormonal - but laying off the coffee might help, eh? RU up all night too?
