Did you know that when you're running, it's going to feel about 20 degrees hotter to you than it actually is. Try the following tips to help avoid the effects of summer heat without busting your training schedule:
1) Run early in the morning; your body is at its lowest core temperature when you first wake up.
2) Know your "sweat rate" and replace fluids accordingly.
3) Roll a line of ice cubes up onto a bandana and tie it around your neck before you run. As the ice melts, you'll get a cool stream of water!
