Mother’s Day weekend presents Los Angeles residents, women and men alike, a chance to run/walk for the fight against women’s cancers in the Revlon Run/Walk for Women. This 5k Run/Walk came about in 1993 thanks to the devoted and combined assiduity of the Entertainment Industry Foundation. Revlon Run/Walk website offers an array of tools from getting you registered to creating your own fundraising page, even building a 25 member team of co-workers or family and friends. What an incredible way for local women to reach out and reinforce the female running spirit. Those of you out of state are able to participate by simply donating or sponsoring either a friend or a relative! If you happen to be a New York resident the same event will be taking place May 3rd.
