Traxee first featured Off 'N Running Tours, L.A.'s own celebrity running tour company back in spring 2008.

Well, I just got a press release from Cheryl Anker, Founder and Owner of the company that she's offering a 15th anniversary tour featuring a tribute to Michael Jackson at 1994 prices.

Off N' Running Tours takes runners to LA neighborhoods they wouldn't ordinarily see.  The courses are customized for clients' interests and fitness levels and are filled with rolling hills, gardens, landmarks, one-of-a-kind architecture, fountains and sculpture...plus the homes of some of the biggest stars in Hollywood.

Off ‘N Running Tours, founded in July 1994, celebrates our 15 year anniversary by taking you out on our very first running tour, at our 1994 prices.

OFF 'N RUNNING TOURS takes you to neighborhoods you wouldn't ordinarily see. Courses are customized for the client’s interests and fitness level and are filled with rolling hills, gardens, landmarks, one-of-a-kind architecture, fountains and sculptures.

In 1994 our first tour ran past the $50,000,000 Aaron Spelling Mansion on S. Mapleton Drive. Fifteen years later, the Spelling Mansion is valued at $150,000.00.

Our tour ran by the past and present homes of Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall, Barbra Streisand, Walt Disney. Holmby Hills has always been a hideaway for celebrities.

In 1994 our running tour took you past the Playboy Mansion, with a stop by the talking rock. Today we run past the Playboy Mansion to see where they film the reality show “The Girls Next Door”.

In 2002, the now famous home at 100 N. Carolwood Drive in Holmby Hills was owned and occupied by Sean Connery. That home will now forever be famous as the last residence of Michael Jackson.

During our anniversary month of July 2009, our Holmby Hills 3 mille running tour will roll back the price to $35 per person. Our gifts to you will include a Michael Jackson CD, our now famous “Running from the Paparazzi” running tour tee shirt, and bottled water.

Our Holmby Hills Anniversary tour will be offered seven days a week during the month of July at the 1994 price of $35. Tours are offered throughout the day, beginning at 7:00AM to avoid bus tours and traffic. Our last tour departs at 12:00PM.

Since our tours are on foot, we always ask our running tour participants to be respectful of the occupants of homes we pass. We welcome walkers on this challenging course. You must be able to run or walk rolling hills at a comfortable pace. This is not a race. We allow 90 minutes to complete a three-mile course with stops along the way.

This is such a great thing to do for locals and tourist alike! I think I'm going to grab a friend this month and go for a jog-lite with Cheryl and company.  What a hoot!
