Bye Bye Side Stitches!

Yay! I finally figured out how to get rid of my side stitches without slowing or stopping my run! I've been focusing on my belly breathing: really pushing my belly out when I inhale and fully exhaling very quickly, even if I feel ridiculously noisy doing it. I can now get my breathing under control and time it so that I am contracting my diaphragm in rhythm with my steps. Works like a charm!

Traxee user bmoore Yes! I read about this one in a magazine. It TOTALLY works. I seem to get side stictches a lot more when running in warmer weather too. The belly breathing thing works great!
