For years I carried around this gnarled up plastic water bottle with a screw on cap because, quite frankly I couldn't seem to find a bottle I liked better. My old gnarled bottle had a broad mouth you see, which allowed me to add ice cubes, and that made it indispensible. Then I lost the screw-on cap and I retired that old bottle to the drawer where I keep my Tupperware with missing lids.
Well, I just found the perfect water bottle that will save me from disposable water bottle guilt forever. It's the KOR One manufactured by Nypro for innovative start-up KOR..
Kore One has an incredible, cool eliptical design and an integrated hinged top that you can never lose. It's made of BPA free material, holds 750 ml of liquid (about 24 oz), weighs just under a pound when filled AND it has a wide mouth that allows you to add ice.
But here's a really cool thing. Each KOR comes with 6 "stones" that fit right into the cap of the bottle. 4 of these stones are pre-printed with inspirational messages and 2 are blank (for your own message.) When you drink from the bottle, you see your stone. OK, so it doesn't improve the performance of the bottle but it is definitely an interesting feature that adds a little fun.
Cool design, functional features, fun AND reasonably priced at $29.95. (How much do you spend on bottled water in a month?) Get one at the KOR website.
I know! How crazy is that? Here they are promoting a "green" product and they're filling the bottles with plastic-bottled water! I like to think they were doing it to illustrate the capacity of the thing. I just had to post this video...you're the only one who has caught the absurdity so far! I did order my own KOR and it should be here in a couple of days. Cool design.
