Turkey Trots have become incredibly popular over the years.  These runs are typically geared for all members of the family and can be found in communities just about everywhere in the country.  Races typically combine 5K/10K distances and often feature activities for kids.  Some of the races are geared towards raising funds for charities that feed the hungry or homeless - a great way to spend a few hours during the holiday.
