Daily Marathon Training Log – Day13

SUCKED. Not only did I not have enough ‘good’ calories until after my run, but I had sugar on top of that. Only 4 miles today. My bf was like…that’s cute, now you are saying ONLY to 4 miles! Side stitches set in on mile three and while I was able to alleviate those with BMoore’s method, my whole body just felt like crap.

The remainder of this week I will be stuffing moving to a new place, kids/homework/after school activities, and work on top of training for this half marathon. Yes, it will be a challenge, but I feel running is my relaxation time so really it is a matter of fitting in some ME time!

Pre-run: 150 crunches

Run: 4 miles – 9.55 per mile

Foods:

16oz fruit smoothie – banana (2), rasp (32/3.5), blue (39.5/4.5),
straw (24.5/2), with Papaya Nectar (140)
1 cup coffee – 2 cal
1 Twix stick – 140 cal (65fat)
1 Cliff Bar – 240 cal (45fat)
1 bag Tear ‘n Share M&Ms – 250 cal (120fat)
6oz organic vanilla yogurt – 130 cal (15fat)
1 cup Trader Joes Granola and the Three Berries – 400 cal (100fat)
1/2 avacado – 138 cal (124fat)
1/2 tomato – 15 cal
1 red/green bell peppers – 30 cal
6 baby carrots – 28 cal (2fat)
1/2 whole wheat pita – 85 cal (7.5fat)
1 cup hummus – 435 cal (190fat)
30oz H2o

Total Calories = 2131
Total Calories Burned = 361

Traxee user Sarah Sounds like dinner should have come at lunch? well, we go through sucky days and end up with amazing ones...each turn in the road brings us something new, a lesson learned :)
