Nike+ Sport Kit – Reviewed

Nike+ Sport Kit – Reviewed by Betty

This is my new boyfriend. He tells me the facts when I ask. He congratulates and encourages my accomplishments. He always picks out the best music to get and keep me running. He is Nike+ Kit. I call him Kit for short, not to be confused with the famous Night Rider talking automobile.

On top of all that, he functions just like I had hoped. So, how about all the pieces? I strap my iPod + Kit’s brain upside down in the armband I purchased from Apple and it fits perfectly fine. As for the arm band itself, I haven’t experienced any slipping, but this could be because I run in long sleeves, regardless of the weather. In addition, with iPod + Kit upside down, I find it incredibly easy to adjust functionalities and check in on stats while keeping pace.

Kit’s soul that lives in the sole of my new Nike+ shoes stays perfectly and seems, so far to communicate accurately with his brain part. I have not, however calibrated it; for now I am using the basic workout function. Some reviews I have read complain about accuracy until it has been calibrated.

Regardless, I have joined the thousands of women runners who swear by their Nike+ Sport Kit. I have so much fun loading up my run to Nike+ to view my progress in relation to my own goals; it is most definitely a motivational tool. Were I a bit more serious of a runner, I would like to add a bpm counter.

Oh, and just for those of you out there wondering what to do with those flapping ear bud chords…I have devised a brilliant solution. Paperclip. Yep, I position just enough slack from the buds down to my shirt or sport bra and paperclip it on. No flapping, no ear buds falling out. Finally, office supplies become multi-functional.

Anyone else? Have you a review of this product? Would love to hear about it.

Betty + Kit = Love  ;-)

Traxee user Karen Cool, thanks. You may have just added that little bit that I needed to go ahead and get one! Now, I need to come up with a race that it will be a pre-reward for! :)

Traxee user Sarah I have not tried this yet, but I just may. It looks like I may begin training for the LA marathon. From the reviews, it sounds like cross the board people love it. Thank You! Oh, great idea with the paperclips!

Traxee user bmoore I have resisted the temptation, though sooner or later I know I am bound to fall for Kit myself. I have a hard enough time mechanising my runs with my IronMan(Girl) watch!
