Not Competing, But Not Forgotten

Not Competing, But Not Forgotten by bmoore

There is one among us who trained for the AIDS Marathon | San Francisco Marathon, but will be unable to run due to injury.  Brave and undaunted, she is going to San Francisco this weekend anyway to cheer on her pace-mates.  Right on girl.  You know who you are...I'll see you next March in Griffith Park, K?

Traxee user Betty Alright!!! I think, instead of it feeling like a bummer (not finishing the whole thing, or walking) you will be fulfilled for your efforts. Encouragement and unconditional support are beautiful things. Go get em tiger!

Traxee user ontherun08 I'm pretty sure you're talking about me! I've actually decided to do the half marathon even though I'll probably end up walking most, if not all, of it. I had to at least get out there and try after the training and words of encouragement from my friends and family that donated. Thanks for your well wishes!
