Reading For Runners

Reading For Runners by KDface

While there are plenty of ‘How to Run’ books for women, of which may easily be found on Amazon, I want to bring you a bit of a creative flip to the ‘art’ of running, therefore, below I have listed three books in particular order.  I would love to hear feedback on running books you have read and would recommend as well and of course, if you read one on the list!

STRIDES
By: Benjamin Clever

~ The author, through retelling the history of running, delves into the human’s abysmal fetter to running driven by an impulse the author describes as “the desire, the need, to escape into ecstasy.”

MY LIFE ON THE RUN: THE WIT, WISDOM, AND INSIGHTS OF A ROAD RACING ICON
By: Bart Yasso

~ Yasso recommends the best exotic marathons for runners who wish to embrace their love for running across foreign terrain while instilling the must know logstics of doing so in unfamiliar countries.

RUNNING FOR MORTALS
By: John Bingham & Jenny Hadfield

~ Provides tips for getting started, sticking to a routine, eating for energy, hydration, and training for speed and endurance.
